The leaf wreath crown base was made by twisting and wrapping the long bare pliable branch of a weeping willow tree in to a head size circle . Vibrant Bradford pear leaves and chrysanthemum flowers were threaded through the willow wreath to make the crown. I created the skirt by collecting large leaves in the fall right before they were needed .
